VP, Alternative Programming
The VP, Alternative Programming will report to and work with the EVP, Alternative Programming at Universal Television Alternative Studio. Essential Responsibilities: Work and collaborate with networks, 3rd Party production companies and producers on development, casting, creative, formats, budgets, calendars, production and post-production plans. Oversee day-to-day management of pilots and series, managing several series at once. Identify trends and pursue IP opportunities for projects in development Find, develop, and pitch new material to studio leadership Operate as the studio executive on the set of productions. Watch and note cuts on pilots and series. Create and build new relationships, as well as maintain existing relationships with production companies, producers and network executives that currently work with or will work with Universal Television Alternative Studio.
