The Sr. Manager, Creative Operations – Live Action & Character Art will manage a high volume of deliverables for the creative and character art teams, including design guides, packaging guides, retail and marketing guides and character art generation and submission reviews. The role is the lead communicator and cross-function liaison across the business globally with key partners in franchise strategy, category management, product design studio, retail development/marketing, legal and global asset production and management.

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?” Establish character blocking, camera positioning, and animate camera movement. Build an animatic interpretation of the story reel. Ensure that the vision of the Director and Art Director are incorporated into the film where possible. Work with existing storyboards, recreate and/or enhance story through cinematic layout of shots. May create rough pre-visualization models and environments to facilitate animatic work. Collaborate with the Editorial department to incorporate materials and animatic work into the production reel.

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?” Creates additional single-use animation used on promoted background characters. Cycles to be used on background generic characters fulfilling the shows needs and must maintain a high standard of quality. Works closely with the Crowds Supervisor and Head of Character Animation to build needed performances. Understands the technical requirements of a crowd system and works well with the concepts of looping and transitioning animation.
