Responsibilities: ● Assist band leader with all tasks. ● Serve as primary liaison between staff and band leader. ● Assist band during remote shoots and road shows. ● Distribute setlist for each show on a daily basis. ● Disseminate important information to the band, such as schedule changes and taping dates. ● Work with NBC music licensing for all music clearance needs. ● Coordinate with audio engineer regarding lyric needs or other tasks. ● Assist band in various tasks and oversee interns on runs. ● Submit daily music cues to music department and help oversee interns with music cue sheets.

NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 San Diego seek a part-time Reporter (production employee platform.) You will be reporting for an estimated 20 hours a week for the Telemundo and NBC newscasts. The schedule will depend upon need and could include early morning, nights, holidays and/or weekends. This position has a start and end date of July 2026-January 2026 Cover all news stories as assigned by the News Department. Produce original content for Digital Platforms. Report the facts on station’s news program on tape, digitally and/or live, either in the studio or on location.

The Producer / Reporter Associate is part of NBCU Local Television Stations’ Development Program. The program aims to develop talented journalists to become great television reporters. The program is well suited to attract television or digital journalists early in their careers or experienced print journalists interested in transitioning to television as on-air reporters. The program will include a significant investment in training and coaching to equip the selected participants with the skills needed to become successful television reporters.
