Director, Consumer Insights - Engagement and Brand
BACKGROUND: NBCU TV& Streaming is looking for an experienced Director of Consumer Insights to join our team and drive primary research initiatives that establish a consumer connection to the Peacock, NBC and Bravo brands and increase engagement and retention among subscribers/viewers. This individual will use their prior experience partnering with Subscriber Analytics and Brand Marketing teams to set a primary research roadmap that supports strategic business goals. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Brand & Growth Strategy Insights and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organization to bring the consumer perspective into decision-making. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS: A consumer insights/primary research leader ready to have an impact and help drive strategic decision-making. You should have experience leading quantitative and qualitative primary research initiatives in collaboration with senior stakeholders within Brand Marketing, Growth & Lifecyle Marketing, Customer Relationship Management & Platform Analytics teams to help drive business decisions. We are looking for a candidate with a deep background of leading a range of primary research methods including surveys, focus groups, diary studies, in-depth-interviews and advanced quantitative methods like max diff, conjoint and drivers analyses. You should also have experience working with analytics teams to marry survey data to first party user or subscriber data. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: Build relationships with leaders on the Brand Marketing, Growth & Lifecyle Marketing, Customer Relationship Management & Platform Analytics teams, acting as a thought partner and delivering strategic consumer insights that drive overall business success across Peacock, NBC and Bravo Create a strategic primary research roadmap to drive Peacock user engagement and retention, collaborating with the Advanced Analytics teams to deliver research insights that are integrated with first party subscriber data Collaborate with the Customer Relationship Management team to provide insights and strategic guidance to optimize the various Peacock consumer journeys including deep analysis of specific cohorts like non-viewers and cancellers Partner with UX Research leads to deliver integrated insights and recommendations that drive retention and engagement of Peacock subscribers Consult with the Brand Marketing team to deliver insights that inform Peacock, NBC and Bravo positioning in the market.
