Senior BI Engineer NBCUniversal Media, LLC seeks Senior BI Engineer in Playa Vista, CA 12180 Millenium Dr., Playa Vista, CALIFORNIA 90094 Full-time Drive and participate in the definition, the direction, and the development of the BI Reporting Platform. Work with internal stakeholders to create the requirements and technical design of the BI Reporting Platform and related intelligence tools. Work with business owners, analysts, product managers, and data engineers to implement visual, actionable reports that meet quality and performance requirements.

This position is a temporary role that will last two months, with a possibility of extending longer. Responsibilities Coordinate with News assignment desk & editorial staff as well as Media Managers for required newsfeeds via Microwave, Fiber, Satellite, and Cellular bonded news systems and future technology. Operate complex ENG microwave control systems, satellite systems, CBNG systems, and beauty camera systems. Perform Quality control on all ingested feeds including Video, Audio, Microphone levels, and IFB operation. Coordinate feed routing to studio control rooms.

Community Engagement: Develop and execute community outreach programs to foster positive relationships with local communities and promote the stations’ participation and presence. Identify partnership opportunities aligned with the stations’ community priorities. Cultivate relationships with community leaders, non-profits, grassroots community organizations, and other stakeholders and partners. Plan and execute community events, meetings, and public forums ensuring community affairs activities comply with station and company standards.
