Financial Analyst – Global FP&A

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) is comprised of both digital and physical distribution businesses, overseeing the sales and operations for digital transactional film and television content including PVOD, PEST, EST, and VOD for Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Illumination, DreamWorks Animation, and independent studios, as well as physical DVD and Blu-Ray product sales in domestic and international markets through a licensing model. Position Summary: Working within the Global FP&A team, the Financial Analyst will be focused on the International Digital business segment with forecasting, financial reporting and other related processes. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Global FP&A, supporting the overall FP&A team and works closely with the Business Intelligence, Marketing, Controllership, and Film HQ teams. The candidate should display an aptitude for financial systems; prior experience in SAP/BW/BPC or Essbase is preferred but not required. This person ideally has a finance/accounting background with strong Excel skills, is detail orientated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Support monthly pacing forecast and annual budget process; help to consolidate and upload financial data to studio Film HQ. Support monthly accrual process. Support monthly and quarterly closing processes. Prepare and manage financial reporting as necessary. Work with team to drive business process improvements. Build effective business partner relationships with internal stakeholders. Support the Senior Management Team with ad-hoc data and financial analysis requests.
