NBC Bay Area is looking for a dynamic and creative journalist to join our award-winning team as a full-time Multi-Platform Content Producer, Writer and Fill-In Newscast Producer. We’re seeking someone with exceptional writing and producing skills, sharp editorial judgment, and the ability to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a team player, and someone who brings fresh ideas to every shift. What You’ll Do: Write and produce engaging content for broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms Fill in as a newscast producer on assigned shows and special coverage Collaborate closely with reporters, producers, assignment editors, and digital teams to create compelling coverage Pitch, research, and develop original story ideas Respond quickly and accurately to breaking news situations Help craft high-impact newscasts that connect with Bay Area viewers Contribute to innovative storytelling across multiple platforms, including social media and streaming What We’re Looking For: Strong broadcast news writing skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines Experience producing television newscasts in a fast-paced newsroom environment Excellent news judgment and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Creative thinker who embraces a multi-platform approach to storytelling Collaborative mindset and positive attitude in a team-driven environment Passion for local news and serving Bay Area communities
