If you love weather forecasting, climate and science reporting and you have the desire to work in a high-performing newsroom, then Telemundo 48 (KSTS)/NBC Bay Area is looking for you. The successful candidate will produce and create graphics that are clear and easy to follow; tell the viewers a weather story in newscasts and digital, and ensure viewers get the information they need for the day. These weather forecasts should be designed for a multiplatform presentation.

KSTS is currently seeking a Multi-Media Journalist/Content Producer who will work closely with assignment editors, reporters, and anchors to produce, write, edit, and gather content on all KSTS platforms, both linear and digital, including FAST in Spanish. This is a hybrid position. As a Multi-Media Journalist, this individual will be responsible for the on-air delivery of daily newscasts. The ideal candidate will also shoot, write & edit news stories for all our platforms, including broadcast, web, social media, and OTT.

NBC Bay Area's News Internship provides students with real world experience and exposure to working in a top ten television market and in a high-energy newsroom. Interns may gain experience on the Assignment Desk, writing/producing, and/or with working on our digital platforms. Successful interns will demonstrate a passion for learning and the ability to step out of their comfort zone. We are looking for students who are highly motivated and who can function as a team member or independently in a fast-paced news environment.
