Telemundo Station Group, part of the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal, is comprised of local television stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Telemundo News Service (TNS,) provides content and coordination for these stations as well as Telemundo Affiliates across the country. PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term PEP position with an estimated duration of 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. Must select stories, understand all the elements and design a newscast that achieves the daily goal.

The ideal candidate will also shoot, write & edit news stories for all of our platforms, including broadcast, web, social media, and OTT. Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra is currently looking for an individual with a comprehensive understanding of television news production and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. This individual will be responsible for creating compelling news stories for various formats. Key Responsibilities: Shoot, record, and edit video, audio, and images, often using professional software for production. Writing and editing daily stories, as well as gathering material to contribute to building the rundown.

This position will be responsible for growing revenue from Tampa-based ad agencies and direct advertisers, leveraging all US markets through NBCUniversal Local OTT and digital platforms including NBC Spot On featuring Peacock. The position requires TV ad sales experience, leveraging Telemundo’s linear TV stations in Tampa, Orlando, and Ft. Myers, with emphasis on the Tampa DMA. The AE will develop an understanding of our ad products, leverage tentpole events and have solid consultative selling skills to be able to best develop solutions to meet client needs.
