Summer 2026 Recruitment Timeline: November 10 – December 5: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume) Mid November – Late December: First round video interviews Mid – Late January: Second round interviews Late January – February: Selected candidates receive offers Summer 2026 Internship Program: Applications Close: December 5th at 11:59pm ET. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – applications could close earlier due to applicant volume! Program Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026 Time Commitment: 20 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Needham, MA. NBCUniversal Local is comprised of three individual media groups including the NBC Owned Television Stations, the NBC Sports Regional Networks and the Telemundo Station Group. NBCUniversal Local’s stations and networks serve diverse audiences and communities across linear, streaming, OTT, digital web, mobile and audio, and cable platforms and work together to keep local audiences informed anytime and anywhere. Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: Sales & Marketing The Sales Marketing Internship supports partnership initiatives and sponsorship fulfillment by managing proof-of-performance tasks such as collecting clips, maintaining tracking documents, and coordinating with internal teams for recaps and special requests. Key responsibilities include creating sales and marketing materials, contributing to brainstorming sessions for client ideas, collaborating across departments to execute partnerships, managing sponsored sweepstakes, and providing daily administrative support. Data Analytics The Data Analytics Intern will support NBC Boston’s Audience Insights team by analyzing and organizing performance data across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms. Responsibilities include tracking key metrics such as impressions, engagement, and demographics; building dashboards and recurring reports; conducting ad hoc analyses to inform content and marketing strategies; cleaning and preparing data for reporting; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on performance goals.
