Temporal Engineer

This is a project/limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. (One year) Responsibilities The Production Engineer is responsible for providing best-in-class live television production support for NBCU, supporting live and scripted/unscripted productions. This position will also support the projects team, where and as required, to implement changes, enhancements, and system upgrades. Primary Responsibilities Provide technical support and support maintenance of a broadcast production environment consisting of multiple studios and production control rooms. Resolve support requests, monitor ticketing systems for new issues and assigned tasks, and perform preventative maintenance as assigned. Collaborate with other members of the engineering and technical teams in executing projects, including working with internal stakeholders to create and update configuration documentation, technical SOP’s, training materials, etc. Support virtualization and cloud initiatives, continuing deployment of virtual production systems both on-premise and in the cloud. Maintain production systems by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. This position is temporary for one year.
