Assistant Editor

The Assistant Editor position is responsible for editing in Adobe Premiere and AViD, inserting patch fixes, compliance editing, finishing shortform and graphic creation. Candidates must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photo Shop and Avid knowledge with the skill set to complete basic edit and graphics creation using template projects. Create and send digital files to clients  Evaluate the final audio/video’s overall integrity Troubleshoot technical issues within the edit platforms Unsupervised S&P editing using Avid/Premiere Finishing of short form assets using Adobe Premiere Creation of graphics using Adobe After Effects tool kits Edit of billboards Simple Audio editing as needed Create close caption and subtitle files for shortform assets and add files to assets Use of Frame.io for digital delivery Embed CC on longform assets using MacCaption Complete daily work orders All other duties as assigned
