Overview A permanent full-time position in a friendly, collaborative team covering a varied workload. As well as being part of the dynamic International Networks & DTC business in EMEA (covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa), you will be part of an international legal community with access to a wide range of in-house training and development opportunities, events and knowledge-sharing resources. Responsibilities This role will support a broad range of our internal client teams, including Commercial, Programming, Ad Sales, Marketing and International Media Distribution (IMD), and will involve: Negotiation and drafting of agreements for the distribution of NBCU‘s portfolio of entertainment and news channels, direct-to-consumer offerings and brands across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Negotiation and drafting of content acquisition, advertising and sponsorship agreements, and advising on marketing and consumer law issues, as required. Acting as primary legal adviser (with support from other members of the team) for the IMD business representing third-party foreign language channels for distribution into the US. Assisting on project work and product launches. Keeping up to date with, and advising the business on, key legislative and regulatory developments in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, including on copyright, advertising and compliance matters. Working closely with NBCU’s specialist IP, Litigation, Privacy and Employment lawyers where needed.
