Band Assistant

Responsibilities: ● Assist band leader with all tasks. ● Serve as primary liaison between staff and band leader. ● Assist band during remote shoots and road shows. ● Distribute setlist for each show on a daily basis. ● Disseminate important information to the band, such as schedule changes and taping dates. ● Work with NBC music licensing for all music clearance needs. ● Coordinate with audio engineer regarding lyric needs or other tasks. ● Assist band in various tasks and oversee interns on runs. ● Submit daily music cues to music department and help oversee interns with music cue sheets. ● Monitor the show for music cue changes by checking in with writers and segment producers. ● Handle Roots paperwork. ● Delegate casting paperwork. ● Submit band attendance weekly. ● Submit expenses on behalf of The Roots for transportation. ● Coordinate with stage managers to wrangle band members. ● Coordinate travel on remote shoots and road shows. ● Book transportation for band members
