Studio Director - NBC Sports, Bay Area

We are seeking a Director to join our creative production operations team in San Francisco, working in our state-of-the-art facility supporting NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California. You will need to be naturally curious, innovative, and motivated to lead the evolution of news production. Job Responsibilities Direct and operate various live and/or recorded television productions in a sports environment using the Ross Overdrive Automated Production Control system Code and execute live pre and post-game shows and various taped productions using production automation; build master rundown patterns for all television broadcasts Work closely with editorial and production personnel from concept to final production Shape the creative appearance of broadcasts using video, audio, and graphics effects Give direction and timing cues to talent and other technicians Operate automated graphics, audio, camera control, and clip playback servers Ensure execution aligns with standard operating procedures and best workflows Responsible for the ultimate technical quality of production Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as needed Submit End of Show reports Participate in various feedback sessions All other duties as assigned
