NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Product Team builds products that provide essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal. The team leverages deep relationships with our business engagement and engineering counterparts to build cohesive, end-to-end solutions for their clients or users. The product portfolio is aligned around critical NBCU functions such as Content/Title Management, Data & Analytics, Scheduling & Distribution, and Content Sales. As a Manager of Product, you will be responsible for partnering closely with software development, QA, Support and Client groups to drive the successful implementation of key feature sets and critical issue fixes. The ideal candidate is a technology savvy individual, passionate about software development and adaptable manager able to work on multiple, key projects while maintaining high quality standards and commitment to meet and exceed customer expectations. Working closely with Product Owners and Scrum Leads they will keep the targeted work streams on track and flag obstacles that could put our products and timelines in jeopardy. Responsibilities: Experience in managing the end-to-end life cycle of a product Manage a team of Product Owners and Product Specialists focused on building out NBCUniversal’s Media Asset Management and File Distribution platforms Define, rollout and enforce best practices in the areas of requirements capture, story management and end-to-end testing of features Measure quality of stories through the agile process keeping focus on acceptance criteria, documentation and operational test cases Develop and lead long term vision and strategy across the Product portfolio using cloud native tools and industry standard technology Take ownership of the Product & Development reliability metrics for executive review Drive process improvements through structured training while upholding a high standard driven though employee scorecards Work with client user groups to ensure operational needs are being appropriately met Support software development project management, Agile, Scrum, as needed
