Global TV Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal. Overview: The Senior Accountant will be part of the NBCU Studio Group’s accounting team responsible for the operational accounting of the TV Production division. This role will assist and perform accounting functions such as monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis. In addition to regular duties, the position will be charged with ad hoc reporting and finance projects as needed. The Senior Accountant will report to the Sr. Manager, Accounting. Responsibilities: Understand the nature of TV licensing contracts and processes for proper billing and revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 Support timely and accurate cash application activities, including research and resolution of discrepancies Prepare journal entries and related support Prepare all required account reconciliations in accordance with Company policy Preparation and correspondence related to external and internal audit requests Perform ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed The responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above descriptions and may be modified at any time by the Department or NBCUniversal.
