The Senior Financial Analyst of Local Ad Sales Finance is responsible for supporting the end-to-end process of the division’s sales incentive compensation (SIC) plan that directly impacts roughly 300 employees across our 12 NBC Owned Stations, 31 Telemundo Owned Stations and 4 Regional Sports Networks. Reporting to the Senior Director of Ad Sales Finance, you will partner with sales leadership throughout the country to contribute towards driving positive sales behavior as it pertains to the SIC plan and its direct impact to the overall division’s sales strategy.

About Platform Distribution & Partnerships: Platform Distribution and Partnerships (PD&P) is a division of NBCUniversal's media group responsible for the distribution and monetization of the company’s multi-billion-dollar linear and streaming services portfolio to pay-tv providers, NBC broadcast affiliates, consumer technology platforms and devices, and consumer brands. A key revenue-generator, the division is comprised of content distribution, affiliate relations and strategic partnerships across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo and various FAST channels.

Role Purpose The Manager of FP&A is responsible for managing financial planning and forecasting at SpinCo. This role will have significant interaction with Business Unit and Corporate leadership, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. In addition, the manager will participate in /coordinate ad hoc projects as requested. The Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for all planning and estimate cycles, internal reporting and related analysis for SpinCo financial results.

The Manager serves a key role on the Versant Production & Distribution Finance team, reporting to the Vice President, Production & Distribution Finance and serving as an operational finance support partner to the full “Operations & Technology” team. The role provides the unique opportunity for extensive visibility with the Versant leadership team and experience both shaping and managing the operations of a newly formed Media company.

Controllership As a key leader within the Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) Controllership team, the Manager, Accounting & Reporting will be responsible for leading the accounting processes, controls, systems and reporting that ensures controllership objectives are met to world class standards across UP&E (Consumer Products, Digital Games, and Franchise Management). This position reports to the UP&E Assistant Controller and partners with Finance and Accounting across the US and multiple international territories.

The Senior Manager, Technical Accounting will play a key role in executing Versant’s technical accounting strategy, supporting the development and consistent application of accounting policies, and evaluating complex transactions for proper accounting treatment. Reporting to the VP, Technical Accounting & Policy, this position will partner with Controllership, FP&A, Legal, and External Reporting to ensure Versant remains compliant with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.

OVERVIEW This key role will be responsible for leading the finance support for the MSNBC & CNBC Digital and Non-TV businesses (Direct to Consumer, Digital Publishing, Events, Councils, Audio, and Select). This role will partner with senior leaders to execute the day-to-day priorities, lead various special projects, and be a thought partner for these high-profile businesses. This role will report to the SVP, News Finance.
