NBCU has deployed SAP to run financial, logistics, and HR processes. SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) is deployed to run the planning processes at an enterprise and division level. NBCU currently has 16 BPC solutions to support financial planning processes. NBCU is also on a Finance transformation journey that will result in most of the planning solutions moving to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). As the Business System Analysis Manager, you will be the bridge between finance strategy and technical execution.

Role Purpose: The Manager of Finance is responsible for managing financial planning and forecasting for an innovative new initiative at NBCUniversal. This is a newly created role is an exciting opportunity that will play a foundational part in building and scaling a dedicated finance function to support the initiative’s growth. This role will have significant interaction with department heads, particularly through the forecast, budget, and estimate cycles. The Sr. Accountant is responsible for the end to end accounting for the billing to cash processes for Universal+ sales across Partnerships, as well as Direct to Consumer revenues, in accordance with US GAAP across all entities within the LatAm Hub & Spanish LatAm joint venture (SPL). Universal+ DTC is currently available in 16 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean and is currently in a growth phase, requiring strong attention to scale, accuracy, evolving operational requirements, and a keen interest in process development.

The Manager of Production Finance is a key leader responsible for overseeing all financial operations that support Sports Production. This role owns the full financial lifecycle for assigned productions, including budgeting, actualization, forecasting, and variance analysis. The Manager provides direct analytical and operational support to the Director, Production Finance, and partners closely with Production, Operations and Scheduling ensuring financial transparency and accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.

The Team: The Financial Contract Reporting Group compiles, analyzes, and validates financial information from multiple sources for the participations reporting system (PARIS). The team prepares and distributes participation accounting statements and payments in compliance with contractual agreements, internal controls, and reporting deadlines. The Director, Finance role is responsible for leading the local finance team and finance functions for the Washington, D.C. market, which includes the WRC, WZDC, WZTD & WRTD television stations. This role is a unique blend of operational finance, FP&A, accounting and reporting into the NBCU Local Mid-Atlantic Region. The position reports to the Regional Vice President Finance with significant interaction with station management leadership, NBCU Local HQ Finance, HQ Controllership and other markets within the region (Philadelphia) & NBCU Local division.

The Manager of Accounting will play a key role in the general accounting and compliance initiatives for NBC Sports. Ths includes responsibility for the Sports Balance Sheet, Account Reconciliations, and Corporate Deliverables. This position will support the Senior Director of Accounting and work closely with leadership across FP&A, Production, GFO, as well as controllership counterparts across the Media Group. This position will support the monthly close and the overall accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
