Media Tech Internship Program Here at NBCU, we strive to be on the forefront of leading-edge technology and are seeking a savvy troop of technologists we call Media Tech Interns. Our Media Tech internship program exposes students to technical opportunities across NBCUniversal’s Operations & Technology organizations and serves as the primary pathway for consideration into our Media Tech Associate Program – a challenging two-year rotational program for individuals with a passion for technology. Many of our past interns have gone on to join the Associate Program, which helps participants jump-start their careers by promoting technical breadth through mentorship, networking opportunities, and technical training. As an NBCUniversal Media Tech Intern, you will gain hands-on experience, allowing you to apply your classroom knowledge to practical situations. We offer a 2-day in-person orientation in our NY office where we bring all interns together to meet each other and various business leaders. Students will experience firsthand how one of the largest media and entertainment companies in the world operates and delivers strategic, innovative solutions. Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: Enterprise Product, Finance: Our team supports product and business engagement for corporate core systems (HR, Legal, Finance, S2P). We manage several cross functional responsibilities including GRC, Testing, External Workforce management, and AI. This intern would have an opportunity to work on gathering business requirements and iterating on new AI solutions. DLS Product Management, Data & Legal Solutions: This position will be a part of the Product team which rolls up to Data & Legal Solutions (DLS). The DLS team partners with all NBCU businesses to deliver exceptional data-driven data solutions; our goal is to enhance our company's competitive advantage in the dynamic media landscape, while managing risk and protecting the business. DLS Product is a key vertical that supports Privacy and Compliance regulatory products to maintain NBCU compliance with key regulations in an ever-evolving regulatory environment. We are currently a team of 6 people comprised of Product Managers, Product Owners and Analysts who partner closely with Engineering, Cyber, Tech Strategy, Compliance Operations, External Vendors, Legal and Business Teams to deliver compliant product features and updates. Our day-to-day includes managing a fast-paced roadmap, integrating and iterating active software, and maintaining the user experience and compliance for live products. Enterprise Product, Content Supply Chain: NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Product Team builds products that provide essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal. The team leverages deep relationships with our business engagement and engineering counterparts to build cohesive, end-to-end solutions for their clients or users. Our team is aligned around critical NBCU functions such as Scheduling & Distribution, and Entitlements. We work with Business Units, Business Solutions, Software Engineering, Video Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Architecture, Multiple Operations teams, and DTC to deliver impactful business outcomes. As a part of the Product team, the individual will work on destination architecture products in the Scheduling & Distribution domain, with a focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to drive innovation.
