Sustainability Strategy Internships – Summer 2026

Financial assistance to offset expenses for transportation and housing may be available on a needs-based basis for eligible in-person interns. More details about eligibility for this assistance will be provided at the time of offer.   Summer 2026 Recruitment Timeline:   November 10 – December 5: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume)  Mid November – Late December: First round video interviews   Mid – Late January: Second round interviews  Late January – February: Selected candidates receive offers  Summer 2026 Internship Program: Applications Close: December 5th at 11:59pm ET. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – applications could close earlier due to applicant volume! Program Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026 Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business needs.  Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work in New York, NY. Operations & Technology: (O&T) is a $1B operating cash flow ($1.5B FCF) division of NBCUniversal. The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, Connecticut, and London.   Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: Sustainability Strategy, Data Analytics: It's an exciting time to work with the NBCU Sustainability team! The team works on a myriad of sustainability implementation projects across the enterprise as part of our roadmap to carbon neutral by 2035. The team is also responsible for emissions reporting, employee engagement, sustainability long-range-planning, forecasting and project tracking, and sustainability data analysis.
