VERSANT, Comcast Corporation’s (NASDAQ: CMCSA) planned spin-off, will be a leading independent publicly traded media company comprised of most of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions. VERSANT is seeking a Junior Designer to join the Digital Storytelling group. We are seeking to produce a huge variety of great work for events, digital, video, consumer-facing and internal communications. We are looking for an individual who is curious and excited about design, eager to learn, and bring your skillset to our team. A self-starter with attention to detail who meets deadlines, is comfortable with learning new design tools to keep pace with the ever-evolving design field and has a collaborative spirit. Your portfolio shows a range of creative skill – from the ability to create captivating animations and graphics to the development and execution of campaigns across community impact and integrated marketing programs and in-the-moment opportunities. Responsibilities: Use your graphic design skills to produce internal and external communications. Develop graphics, animations and copy that aligns with our brand and delivers a fresh perspective to our digital strategy. Create graphics for print, digital, social, events and on-air assets. Take direction from Communications, Content and Marketing leadership and offer multiple visual approaches. Learn and familiarize yourself with VERSANT portfolio brands. Aid in development of multiple brands and design systems. Present your ideas and be able to guide us through your thought process. Assist Storytelling team to bring ideas to life, including developing storyboards, art direction, overall concept development and presentation.
