Senior Manager, Human Resources
Role Summary/Purpose: The Human Resources Senior Manager is primarily responsible for providing operational HR leadership, direction and expertise for the MSNBC Network. The client groups consist of exempt & non-exempt; union & non-union employees and contingent workers. By collaborating with the senior leadership team to provide a broad range of creative HR solutions, this role has the ability to influence short-term and some long-term goals. This role will support MSNBC and conduct project work as required. Essential Responsibilities: Lead and leverage HR processes (incl. Staffing, Benefits, Performance Management, Compensation/Reward Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement & Communication) Partner/collaborate with senior leadership team to align and execute HR strategies in support of operations Manages complex employee relations issues Develop and implement appropriate change management plans as required Support employee engagement and talent mobility initiatives Implement and monitor adherence to HR policies, procedures and practices; Ensure compliance with state & federal laws Provide advice, counsel and coaching to employees regarding HR policies and procedures Identify, select, develop and retain world-class talent and ensure a dynamic pipeline Manage SAP HR system - maintain integrity of employee data Uncover, assess and propose opportunities for HR process improvements
