Counsel, Compliance
The Role: The Counsel, Compliance will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company’s ethics and compliance program. This is a high-impact role responsible for partnering across the business to advise on compliance risks, support key compliance initiatives, and foster a culture of integrity and accountability. The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, business-oriented legal professional with deep expertise in compliance, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. This position reports to the SVP, Chief Compliance Officer. Responsibilities: Provide practical legal and regulatory advice to internal clients on compliance with applicable laws and company policies across a range of matters and transactions. Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of core global compliance program elements, including risk assessments, policies, training, monitoring, metrics, and investigations oversight. Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate, obtain buy-in for, and drive compliance priorities. Conduct comprehensive business risk assessments for relevant business units to identify potential areas of compliance risk; develop and implement risk mitigation plans. Partner with internal stakeholders to develop, implement, communicate and maintain legal and compliance policies and procedures. Support investigation and evaluation of allegations of non-compliance, and drive implementation of remedial and preventive action as necessary.
