Coordinator, Content Acquisitions
The Position The Coordinator, Content Acquisitions role will support the acquisitions team as it licenses content for Versant’s cable networks: USA, SYFY, E! and Oxygen. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining key reports and deal status trackers, inputting data into company-wide systems, updating content analyses as deals progress and pulling information for key stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Manage the acquired inventory and prepare ad hoc reports and presentations Enter and update pertinent details and metadata into all systems utilized across the teams Update, maintain and provide various reports that are required by department management and in weekly meetings Assist team members on special projects including researching & capturing relevant industry intel and the competitive landscape Track upcoming theatricals and series to target for acquisition over the next several years Organize and maintain team SharePoint folders with relevant deal documents Track all content pitched to the team (i.e. screeners, scripts) and input content into team’s internal content feedback tool Screen movies and series and provide feedback on potential fit for the portfolio
