Operations Technician

Universal Production Services seeks an organised, self-motivated individual and team player to join our busy film and television set lighting rental facility, Universal Production Services. The Set Lighting Operations Technician is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity to join the growing team at our busy warehouse based in Elstree, Borehamwood. RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily duties include but are not limited to: Perform PAT Testing according to IEE guidelines. Pulling lighting and rigging orders, testing equipment, cleaning equipment. Store away and accurately manage any discrepancies from goods in & goods out. Work with Senior Operations Technicians and Warehouse Supervisor to understand priorities and dispatch deadlines. Cleaning and checking lighting equipment as it returns from a production rental. Printing equipment job sheets from RTPro software. Complete all required paperwork. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition, clean and ready to rent. Maintain a productive safe environment. General housekeeping of the warehouse. The comprehension and willingness to go “the extra mile”, work to job completion, finalise all assets & attributes of each day’s work is assumed to be understood for this role.
