Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst for East Coast TV Production is an integral part of the O&T finance and operations teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will be managing the day to day financial activities for a ~$100MM OCF business and a $20M capital budget. This includes regular financial and operational metrics reporting, planning and analysis, ad hoc strategic modeling and day to day financial processes. This critical operational finance role provides the unique opportunity to obtain an in-depth view and understanding of the Studio Operations Control Room, Studio Staging, and Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe crews. This role also dually functions to provide exposure and influence with a multitude of NBC brands including, but not limited to TODAY, MSNBC, Tonight Show, Late Night, SNL, The Kelly Clarkson Show, NBC News Now, and Peacock programming along with a variety of many ad hoc productions. Responsibilities Integrate into Studio Operations team to manage costs from operational and financial perspectives Create, update, and maintain operating models to assist with monthly forecasting, budgeting, and reporting (headcount, close packages, pacings) Responsible for the preparation of all budgets and long-range plans (LRP, Budget, quarterly estimates) and related analysis for the OPEX, CAPEX, and Balance Sheet, including presentation preparation Engage in the close process including preparing journal entries, client allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, calculating accruals, and communicating risks and opportunities to FP&A team and clients Perform variance, trend, and KPI analysis across the O&T Portfolio Prepare monthly / quarterly presentations for senior executives and leaders including preparation of monthly operating reviews decks and supporting documents Present on-going results to finance leadership Act as liaison with Accounts Payable team by resolving vendor set up and payment issues, researching payment information and status Manage capital budget spanning construction and engineering teams for future control room, studio and support spaces
