As a key member of the O&T (Operations & Technology) Finance team, the Director, Finance is responsible for all O&T related costs for News Group O&T. The overall finance coverage for the scope of responsibility is $70M+ operating cash flow. The process includes ownership of the overall cost base as well as management of the rate card/ allocation process to productions. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain a solid understanding of NBCU operations through daily exposure/interaction with O&T operational teams as well as the greater NBCU finance organization.

Provide functional support for the SAP HCM system by collaborating with HR/Payroll business partners to understand user needs and system capabilities to design and implement solutions for SAP US Payroll processes. Collaborate with the business and IT teams to ensure business requirements are validated and system development goals are achieved. Perform requirements gathering and write design docs like Functional Specs / Business blueprint docs as it relates to SAP US Payroll. Configure SAP US Payroll: Wagetypes, Tax types, Tax models, Garnishments, Schemas and Rules and Payroll Postings.

Position Overview The Finance Manager for East Coast TV Production is an integral part of the O&T finance and operations teams. The Finance Manager will be overseeing the day to day financial activities for a ~$100MM OCF business and a $20M capital budget. This includes regular financial and operational metrics reporting, planning and analysis, ad hoc strategic modeling and day to day financial processes.
