Sales Liaison Coordinator- 9 Month FTC
The Sales Liaison Coordinator for the Nordics Sales Team is responsible for all aspects of sales support before, during and after the deal negotiation process. The role also provides departmental administrative support, including coordinating marketing material, product management, and liaising internally and externally to ensure smooth operation of existing deals. This role is client-facing and is a vital part of the team. KEY RESPONSIBILITES Sales, Product and Client Support Managing database systems to run product “Availability Lists” by type of right (e.g., Free TV, Basic Cable TV) and by Territory / Region. Updating SAFE database system with details of new deals and amendments to existing deals. Liaising with the Budget Manager to assist with producing planned and ad hoc budget updates and update budget reports as necessary. Working closely with clients to manage their selection process to fulfill their contractual volume obligations by product category (Film, Non-Scripted TV Series, etc). Calculating licence fee allocations and entering product/financial details into SAFE database. Working with product group to help create localised product summary “Sell Sheets” and sending them to clients Providing support to the Sales Team with pitching high volumes of new content to clients: and compiling and delivering product presentations, updates, notifications, screeners and demos to clients Calculating licence fee allocations for one-off Feature Film and TV Package Deals and entering product/financial details into SAFE database. Work closely with the VP Sales Liaison, and other members of the team prior to, throughout and post the negotiation process Respond to client requests/problems and liaise internally to suggest solutions. Creating and maintaining product trackers and soliciting client feedback on new shows Liaise with the Materials Distribution team regarding supply of materials to broadcasters Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure client support and provision of marketing materials Liaise with the Finance team regarding contract payment and billing Liaise with the Legal team regarding deal papering Liaise with any other internal stakeholders relevant to the sales process (eg. New Media, Home Video, Formats) Administrative Support Manage Nordic & Benelux Sales Team’s calendars and coordinate client and internal events/meetings/ calls/content presentations Maintain and update the client database and other databases Provide administrative support for various projects including PowerPoint and other presentation materials Process Expense reports, book taxis/restaurants Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, scanning and photocopying Maintain office records/files Process and prepare client letters and packages Administer, order and track Nordics Sales Team’s office supplies Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned Markets and travels Coordinate travel arrangements and schedules for Nordic & Benelux Team Coordinate and schedule meetings and social events during relevant markets (LA Screenings, MIPCOM, etc.) SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED Educated to a degree level or equivalent Exceptional organisational skills essential: reliable, extremely detail focused, strong sense of initiative with the ability to multitask Experience of generating data driven reports and database management Ability to work independently yet as an integral part of a close-knit team Ability to drive projects through to completion, anticipating next steps and preventing problems Proactive and solution-focused individual with a positive attitude Able to balance and prioritise a busy workload in a fast moving environment Great interpersonal and persuasion skills Ability & willingness to learn new computer systems Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Must have excellent communication skills including report/letter writing and excellent telephone manner Experience of working in an administrative role Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet manner Previous experience within a TV/Film Sales or Media environment preferred but not essential Familiarity with industry practice around Film and TV Windowing is desirable Ideally, the candidate will be interested to progress in a TV sales career Passion for Film and TV essential Desirable language skills: any Scandinavian language All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove they are able to work in the United Kingdom.
