Furniture, Fixture & Equipment Manager

For Universal United Kingdom Resort (UUKR), responsible for……. managing the procurement of Furniture, Fixture, and Equipment (FF&E) materials for multiple and simultaneous hotel and/or resort projects as well as FF&E-related project management including holding to prescribed project budgets and schedules, product design and specification review, procurement contracting, and oversight of installation. Manage FF&E process to achieve value and efficiency. Maintain budget and schedule. Coordinate with field team to implement FF&E installation. Collaborate with Universal Creative teams and coordinate with purchasing agent to optimize strategic sourcing efforts and monitor pricing and added costs to minimize budget Develop and continuously manage milestone schedule for procurement, warehousing, and installation. Identify critical long lead items which could affect the planning and decision-making process. Execute procurement, freight, warehousing and installation contracts. Administer contracts and all work through closeout. Review all designer specifications for accuracy and to ensure they are consistent with overall project budget and industry standards. Prepare and execute requests for proposal/requests for information in conjunction with internal business partners in the area of sourcing services and related commodity groups. Identify long-term strategy for sourcing services and related commodity groups as well as critical long-term issues that could affect the planning and decision-making process. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
