Researcher, TODAY

As a Researcher you will aid in the production of the daily broadcast. You will work directly with the editorial team of the 3rd Hour of TODAY. Job Duties: Working directly with producers on segments Gathering elements and working with an editor Have strong editorial judgement Aid in scheduling meetings and production paperwork for senior editorial staff when needed Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and on a team Awareness of NBC News programs, on-air correspondents, policies, guidelines and practices. Demonstrated strong knowledge and interest in news and current events. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of management Flexible, organized, self-starter, and extremely detail-oriented – able to seek out answers and resources on own
