Associate Producer, Meet the Press

''Meet the Press with Kristen Welker” is looking for an Associate Producer who has exceptional editorial skills, strong news judgment, a demonstrated expertise in covering politics and policy, and strong tape, digital and social skills. Responsibilities: Work with editors and graphic artists to produce packages, including the broadcast Open, edit tape elements and develop graphics Generate and pitch show ideas, program guests and franchise segments Produce political panel Gather sound and assist with ''Meet the Press'' interview elements and spots Produce guest research and write questions for ''Meet the Press'' moderator Shoot and edit stories for digital and social platforms, and elements for broadcast Edit show promos, early release clips and other show franchises Identify top news-making moments for NBC News affiliates Track competition Assist with show archiving Edit and socialize breakout clips for social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and meetthepress.com Contribute to “Meet the Press” blog Assist with podcast production for ''The Chuck ToddCast'' and other audio projects
