NBC News Digital is looking for an Assistant Video Editor to join its digital video production unit. The ideal candidate should have a wide technical fluency, aptitude for growth and be able to juggle multiple priorities and workstreams throughout the day. They should have a passion for storytelling, familiarity of the growing digital content creation landscape and be comfortable working in a multi-platform digital production environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervising Producer with strong editorial judgment, extensive experience in video package production, and a proven ability to lead in a live control room environment. This role requires a dynamic production professional who can oversee high-quality storytelling while mentoring and developing junior talent. The Supervising Producer will work across two teams—NBC Nightly News and Specials—playing a critical role in both feature production and live news coverage.

As a Researcher, you will coordinate with and support management, control rooms, and field teams to ensure live reporter hits get to air. This position works within the Assignment Desk located in NBC's Washington D.C. Bureau.

The Package Producer (AM) will produce a daily, DC-based, news-of-the-day package for nationwide affiliate newscast use. The AM Package Producer's primary shift will be 2:00am – 10:00am Monday through Friday. This position will also include longer shifts and weekend shifts when warranted by breaking news.
