Data Analyst, Digital Media Sales & Innovation NBCUniversal Local

The Data Analyst, for the Digital Ad Sales Operations team will be responsible for creating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing automated and ad-hoc solutions to help with reporting and analytical needs. This role will work cross functionally to support the Inventory Team, Account Managers, Sales, Finance, and more. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Python, and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Microsoft Power BI, Looker), along with a basic understanding of shell scripting and command-line interface (CLI) tools. Responsibilities Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets in Excel, utilizing advanced formulas and functions to support data analysis and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve reporting errors and data discrepancies within client-facing dashboards. Manage and maintain Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau, to support reporting and analytics needs. Maintain and enhance the existing Python codebase to support reporting, automation, and data workflows. Automate custom reports for stakeholders using Python to improve efficiency and scalability. Develop additional reports and analyses on an ad-hoc basis and support evolving business needs as required. Develop and maintain clear documentation and SOPs to support consistent data processes, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity.
