The NBC News Breaking News Specials team seeks a seasoned Senior Producer to drive our weekend breaking-news coverage and contribute to Specials/Nightly News. You will lead editorial and operational execution when news breaks, ensuring broadcasts are fast, accurate, and compelling. Responsibilities: Lead live breaking-news coverage during major events Coordinate with control-room staff, on-air talent, and field reporters Make split-second editorial decisions that uphold accuracy and clarity Serve as the primary editorial lead for Saturday and Sunday coverage for NBC News Specials and NOW Collaborate with the Specials team on major-event planning and execution Partner with technical, graphics, audio, and talent departments to maintain top-tier production quality Produce live cut-ins, special segments, and additional content as needed
