NBC News is seeking an experienced audio producer with strong editorial judgment who thrives in a fast-paced newsroom. This is an ideal position for a versatile, seasoned audio producer with a strong interest in news and current events to contribute to developing a new daily show. The producer will be expected to edit interviews in Descript and ProTools, or similar digital audio software. The producer will also be expected to jump in on any aspect of production as needed, from pitching stories and booking guests to drafting scripts and quickly writing sharp copy.

The News Producer will be responsible for contributing with the editorial line of the newscasts pitching daily stories for the Mexico bureau correspondents. Candidate will work in the production of reports and will be responsible for booking interviews and gathering elements. Candidate must have a strong editorial background and good writing skills in Spanish. The Digital Video Engineer, is a Full Time position in the News Digital Video Engineering Team and will be responsible for the implementation, advancement and upkeep of core technologies, workflows, and systems vital to live-video and file-based digital workflows.
