The Back Up Anchor/ Reporter will be responsible for presenting live broadcasts including newscasts, breaking news, and special programming. The Anchor/ Reporter must have a strong editorial background, follows current news events, contributes to the gathering of information for broadcast and can anchor with a high degree of skill. Generate story ideas, research, and write news stories. Present fair and accurate stories. Actively participate in daily editorial meetings with story pitches of interest to our viewers. Communicate with news producers, assignment editors, photographers.
