SVP, Content & Development

The Senior Vice President, Content & Development is responsible for the development of scripted content and programming for Telemundo Studios designed for all linear and streaming platforms. A significant component of the role will be leading development and content strategy across the studios, partnering closely with the content team, marketing, commercial, RS&I and analytics/insights. Develop and execute a strategy that maximizes all content development Supervises and manages the scripted development department Analyzes storylines and pitches and monitors the quality of each production Play a key role in the green light committee in the evaluation and approval of potential projects Focuses on streamlining production and generating content that is relevant and innovative for the different audiences across our multiple portfolios Works closely with the SVP of Production, Development Executives, Commercial head and writers from development phase through the end of project in an effort to adapt and edit stories as needed Acts as the liaison between programming, entertainment executives and studios for relevant productions and content Works under the direct supervision of the Chief Content Officer and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
