The Senior Manager, External Reporting will play a critical role in Versant’s Corporate Controllership organization, reporting to the Vice President of Financial Reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Versant’s external financial statements and SEC filings. The Senior Manager will oversee key reporting processes, maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards, and partner with cross-functional teams to support audit readiness, investor disclosures, and internal controls.

The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting will play a critical role in Versant’s Corporate Controllership organization, reporting to the Vice President of Financial Reporting. This role is responsible for leading the monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes for corporate and consolidated results. Reporting to the VP of Financial Reporting, this role ensures financial data is complete, accurate, and compliant with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.

The Manager, Financial Systems plays a key role in supporting the administration, maintenance, and optimization of key finance systems including SAP, OneStream, Workiva, and Essbase. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Financial Systems, this role plays a critical part in ensuring systems readiness for the financial close, managing user access and master data, and enabling timely and accurate financial reporting. The manager will support day-to-day operations, special projects, and system enhancements in collaboration with Controllership, IT, and FP&A teams.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the Corporate Accounting team and Accenture’s BPO R2R team, overseeing execution of journal entries, reconciliations, and close tasks Provide review, approval, and final sign-off on journal entries and reconciliations completed by the BPO team across corporate accounting areas, specifically payroll accounting Monitor BPO task completion and escalate delays or quality concerns to the appropriate Leadership Lead daily or recurring check-ins with the BPO lead to track status of close deliverables, issue logs, and resolution progress

Role Purpose The Manager of FP&A is responsible for managing financial planning and forecasting at SpinCo. This role will have significant interaction with Business Unit and Corporate leadership, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. In addition, the manager will participate in /coordinate ad hoc projects as requested. The Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for all planning and estimate cycles, internal reporting and related analysis for SpinCo financial results.

This role will provide strategic and practical legal counsel to the Company’s Human Resources professionals and business executives regarding employment laws and support the overall employment legal group, as well as negotiate and draft employment agreements. This will be a key role as we build a legal employment group for a newly formed media company, Versant Media.
