Specialist, Marketing - Olympics
As a Marketing Specialist, you will assist in marketing and increasing sales for the Olympic Sales Marketing Group. As an ideal candidate, you will: Interface with internal constituencies (sales, management, research, production, and legal) in order to secure requisite input/approvals for business opportunities. Demonstrate the ability to interface with external clients (advertisers, agencies) and translate the needs of the target brand into “sellable” programs that generate revenue for NBC Universal. Be responsible for creative storytelling via PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop and various creative tools. Translate complex information into highly visual, simplified slides with a clear, precise, and persuasive narrative. Manage upkeep of various campaign element trackers. Duties and Responsibilities: Proactively identify sponsorable opportunities that align with clients’ brand/marketing objectives Develop and execute 360 marketing programs that help drive revenue for NBCUniversal and the Olympics Analyze competitive spending patterns Interface with sales personnel to translate client needs into sellable partnerships Partner with sales and research to customize presentations for client calls Ability to understand and intelligently speak to research metrics used in the development of sales stories Report back to Olympic advertisers showcasing how the Olympics helped drive key KPI’s Must be able to work nights and weekends during the Olympic window.
