Privacy Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Privacy Engineering Manager to oversee the development, integration, delivery, and ongoing management of Versant’s privacy compliance program utilizing the OneTrust platform. This role will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers while also remaining hands-on with technical problem solving. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise in OneTrust DSR (Data Subject Request Automation) and CMP (Consent Management Platform) modules and the leadership skills to guide a distributed engineering team, ensuring our systems and processes meet global privacy regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and coach a team of privacy integration engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability Partner with product team and stakeholders to define technical requirements from business and compliance needs Serve as the engineering owner of OneTrust to manage integrations, workflows, and system configurations across OneTrust modules (DSR/CMP) Remain hands-on approximately 30% of the time, solving complex technical challenges and supporting the team on critical issues Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and compliance standards Champion code quality, conduct peer reviews, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices Create and maintain architectural diagrams, runbooks, and technical documentation Ensure change requests and deployments are executed successfully and on schedule
