About VERSANT VERSANT, Comcast Corporation’s (NASDAQ: CMCSA) planned spin-off, will be a leading independent publicly traded media company comprised of most of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions. We’re looking for a Director of Product to transform how our people-focused platforms (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Core HR, Payroll, and Timekeeping) enable our workforce at scale. This leader will shape the tools and experiences that power our employees and HR teams, define the vision and strategy for our HR product ecosystem, and deliver modern, intuitive, and connected solutions that allow Versant to attract, retain, and engage top talent globally. You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, product, and HR operations, shaping the systems that support every stage of the employee lifecycle. This leader will partner closely with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to set clear priorities, align on strategy, and execute effectively. This is a unique opportunity to lead the modernization of HR platforms, enabling Versant to operate smarter, scale globally, and deliver world-class employee experiences. Responsibilities Partner with HR to set the strategic direction for the HR product portfolio, aligned to a unified architecture and simplification of legacy systems as well as elevating the employee experience Build and manage multi-year product roadmaps that balance near-term delivery with long-term vision. Drive continuous improvement with KPI measurement, monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. Lead and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of inclusiveness, collaboration, accountability, and impact. Apply Agile methodologies and work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable products. Manage budgets for the product portfolio, including labor, licensing, hosting, and support, while modeling ROI and productivity outcomes. Build credibility and influence across Versant by demonstrating thought leadership, product expertise, and clear communication.
