NBC 2026 Winter Olympics Host City Immersion Program – Sports Production

We’re looking for world-class talent to help bring action-packed coverage of the Olympics and Paralympics to viewers across the country. From the cosmopolitan city of Milan to the storied Italian Alps, we will be at the forefront of capturing all the compelling competitions and stories of the world’s biggest sporting event. With a rich Olympic history, this will be the second time the Olympics are held in Cortina (1956 Winter Olympics) and the fourth time overall that Italy has hosted an Olympic Games (1960 Rome Olympics and 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin) - join us in delivering the unforgettable Olympic and Paralympic moments that inspire the world! Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics Immersion Program: Applications Close: Friday, May 30, 2025. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – don't delay! Program Dates: Assignments will begin as early as January 26, 2026, and run through February 23, 2026. Most roles will last approximately 3 to 4 weeks, with the exact duration determined at the time of placement. Time Commitment: Anticipate a minimum of 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. This posting represents opportunities across various departments and roles supporting the 2026 Winter Olympics. Areas of placement include: Operations Runner: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide hands-on support for logistical and operational tasks across assigned departments Perform clerical and administrative tasks upon request Assist production teams with support needs as required Maintain professionalism in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Approach all tasks with flexibility, a can-do attitude, and a team-first mindset Press Runner: The Press Runner plays a key support role in the day-to-day operations for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan. This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, flexible, and eager to contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This individual will assist our communication and production teams with a variety of tasks, ranging from administrative duties to hands-on media interview support and errand running. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support press and media operations by assisting with logistics, setup, and coordination Act as a reliable point of contact for urgent requests and last-minute needs from team members Work closely with press, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of daily operations Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and demonstrate flexibility in responding to shifting priorities or needs
