NBC Sports is seeking a Manager of Broadcast Design Engineering to support the planning, implementation, and sustainment of technical systems used in live sports production, studio production, post-production, and other core broadcast environments. This role will manage day-to-day engineering design activities across studio, REMI, and field environments, translating production needs into technical solutions and ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to NBC Sports’ quality standards.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position. Engagement will be per event/assignment based upon business need. Employment can be amended or terminated as deliverables for the assignment are completed. As a Video Operator (V1), you will work under the direction of the Producer, Director, Technical Manager and/or other production or management representatives to provide images for the telecast. You will be able to work with the TM and maintenance engineers to assist with positive solutions regarding equipment malfunction or failure.

Production/ Broadcast Engineer - NBC Sports

The Production/Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for providing front-line broadcast engineering and technical support across multiple studios and control rooms within the Stamford Sports facility. The role involves supporting all broadcast systems and technology for live day-of-air programs, troubleshooting hardware and systems, complying with computer security policies, and managing projects that include system design, integration, and commissioning. This position requires a combination of maintenance and project management/system engineering skills.
