Writer

This is a project/limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. Responsibilities: Responsible for outlining and polishing the written content for the streaming shows during tapings. Responsible for supporting the cases with accurate information of other related stories occurring around the world. Assists producers in all aspects of the production of daily streaming content with a focus on writing Writes stories as assigned by producers, including readers, voice-overs, vo/sots, and anchor packages Applies solid news judgment while researching a variety of news sources and materials for stories and graphics creation Identifies and utilizes best video and sound bites for the stories assigned Works with the editors to maximize use of video and ensure accuracy Assists producers and reporters with research, creation of graphics and all aspects of final production (banners, supers, etc.) Works under the direct supervision of the General Producer and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
