NBC News Digital is looking for an Assistant Video Editor to join its digital video production unit. NBC News Digital is seeking a knowledgeable and ambitious editor to oversee and cover international news from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. London time (2 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET). This role will require a journalist with experience writing and editing major breaking international news, day-two follow-up pieces and features for a U.S. audience. The successful candidate will have a background in foreign news and a track record of covering major global issues, events and ongoing storylines carefully, precisely and with sweep and context.

OVERVIEW The Senior Correspondent has a broad command of financial markets, business, economics, and geopolitics, with a proven track record of writing compelling, accurate and balanced business stories for a global audience. Having a clear understanding of CNBC’s editorial and programming priorities, the Senior Correspondent is an experienced writer who can grasp written nuance and context and apply knowledge and expertise to specific story topics.
