Director, Sports Inventory

The NBCUniversal Ad Sales Planning and Monetization team is seeking a Director, Inventory. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and processes of inventory utilization/logistics. As a function of Inventory, you will report into Strategic Planning and will be key in the development and implementation of new inventory processes and guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities Inventory oversight and input for all Sports media across NBC, Golf Channel, USA, CNBC, Telemundo and Universo. Sports could include Golf, NBA, B1G & ND Football, College Basketball, NASCAR, Premier League, US Soccer, Chivas, as well as other Tentpole Sports (Olympics, World Cup, etc) Leads team of Managers, Analyst, and House Planners to strategically monetize inventory on Working and Ordered inventory Creating and working with team to maintain inventory value docs Providing sales with most up to date plan building guide, avails, & programming information Spearheads upfront process (acquiring programming grids, creating selling names, setting up plan building guides) Participate in the Ratecard process with suggestions on how to evaluate and edit, in order to continue to evolve within the Sports marketplace. Liaison with Planning Leads, Finance, Ad Smart, and Direct Response teams to maximize revenue, monitor budget goals and identify risks Consistent communication with Marketing and Operations, teams to ensure proper placement for sponsorships Oversee schedule changes are correctly executed and communicated to sales Manage all the contractual obligations by League, including exclusivities in cooperation with Programming and Operations Responsible for weekly inventory reporting to Sales/Planning/Inventory Management
