Associate Engineer, Production Technology Support

NBCUniversal is looking for an Associate Engineer, Production Technology Support to join the Production Engineering group for NBCU Operations and Technology (O&T) based in the Telemundo Center facility located in Miami, FL. O&T supports Enterprise Technology, Broadcast and Production systems across NBCU globally. The Associate Engineer, Production Technology Support is responsible for providing best-in-class live television production support for NBCU, supporting live and scripted/unscripted productions. This position will support the project team to implement changes, enhancements, and support technology refresh & expansion projects. Primary Responsibilities Provide technical support and support maintenance of a complex broadcast production environment consisting of multiple studios and production control rooms. Resolve support requests, monitor ticketing systems for new issues and assigned tasks, and perform preventative maintenance as assigned. Work with the engineering team and production clients to successfully execute support of event productions. Collaborate on projects, implementing changes and deploying new systems as assigned. Support virtualization and cloud initiatives, continuing deployment of virtual production systems both on-premises and in the cloud. Collaborate in creating and updating configuration documentation and technical SOPs
