Sr. Financial Analyst

Role Purpose: The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial reporting of scripted and non-scripted productions, ensuring adherence to NBC policies. This role is also responsible for maintaining disciplined oversight of production budgets. Responsibilities: Prepare production budgets and identify key financial risks and assumptions. Prepare production forecasts and dashboards for production leadership and finance executives Track and analyze actual spend versus approved budgets Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend solutions to prevent budget overages Support monthly and quarterly close processes, cash pacing and production cost reporting Prepare monthly Programming Liability and Production Entertainment trackers for Content Programming team Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, as required Review and process payments in accordance with contractual terms Process third‑party billings in accordance with contractual terms and agreements. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, workflows, documentation standards, and ad-hoc reporting requirements Partner with Production, Production Management, HR, Legal, IT, EHS, Operations & Technology, Compliance, Controllership, and Sourcing to support operational needs Provide ad hoc analysis, as needed
