Providing status of coverage to management will be critical, as well as establishing a network of contacts and sources across the New York DMA. This role is designed for a creative journalist who thrives as an end-to-end storyteller—someone who can identify compelling stories, shape the editorial vision, and execute that vision from pitch to publication.

The Producer / Reporter Associate is part of NBCU Local Television Stations’ Development Program. The program aims to develop talented journalists to become great television reporters. The program is well suited to attract television or digital journalists early in their careers or experienced print journalists interested in transitioning to television as on-air reporters. The program will include a significant investment in training and coaching to equip the selected participants with the skills needed to become successful television reporters.

WTVJ – NBC 6 is looking for a creative Photojournalist who will be responsible for shooting and editing stories, including lifestyle, entertainment and feature stories for Duopoly lifestyle shows. Including Vo’s, Vo/sots, reporter packages, anchor packages. Shoot and edit high-quality, national-level content for use on television and on-line. Enhance storytelling through the deliberate use of compelling images, natural sound, and engaging graphics. Collaborate with a variety of reporters and producers to ensure the best content is collected with the main focus on accuracy and creativity.

As a Telemundo News Producer, you will be responsible for the creation of a daily newscast. This role may also work in support of other newscasts or our website by researching stories, writing copy and editing video for both broadcast and digital. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for overall production and content of newscasts on any platform Produce FAST newscasts and specials on an as-needed basis.

This position is a one-year, part-time, multi-platform Producer position. You will be required to write, edit, create and produce news content for broadcast or digital platforms based on daily newsroom needs. This role requires strong editorial judgment, adaptability, and the ability to deliver accurate, compelling content under deadline. Dates: July 27, 2026-July 26, 2027.
