Job Description The Assistant Manager of Entertainment Show Quality plays a key role in maintaining and/or creating the artistic vision of entertainment throughout the park. The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing regular notes and feedback for current Entertainment elements/performers and also for assisting with new Entertainment elements/characters as directed/assigned. This includes but is not limited to, selecting the cast, running rehearsals, collaborating with designers, blocking movement and monitoring the project throughout its operation.

Assistant Manager, Back of House (BOH), will be responsible for directing, managing and operating a high-volume branded concept on CityWalk. As Assistant Manager, BOH CityWalk Food, the position will be a primary “go-to” for the restaurant team and will be responsible for the functions and flow of the venue. Assistant Manager, BOH CityWalk Food is responsible for ensuring that customer service meets the standard of excellence at all times.

The Analyst, Payments Management on the Universal Studios Hollywood Controllership team is responsible for Payment operations, accounting and analysis. This position will assist with the set-up, mapping, and maintenance of new Merchant ID’s, new Payment Tenders, and the testing and implementation of new systems and enhancements as well as support financial close and new initiatives. Responsibilities Include: Support the overall Payments (Merchant IDs & Vault) accounting function by understanding all the USH various IT systems which support the reporting and recognition of revenue.

The coordinator assists with attraction documentation, including but not limited to deliverables lists, request for proposal (RFP) documents, attraction design drawings, attraction scope, and all other pertinent attraction records and with administrative and clerical processes in support of the development of projects. Includes both routine and non-routine administrative assignments in support of the project team.

Assistant Audio/Media Designer, Audio/Video Creative Development is responsible for conceiving, defining, and developing the audio and/or media design of assigned Entertainment projects of various scale, including the World-Famous Studio Tour, Halloween Horror Nights, Fan Fest Nights, marquee events, park theatrical entertainment, historical archives, presentations and special projects. JOB DUTIES Working with the Creative Director of Audio/Media Design and the Creative team, develop concepts and samples to communicate preliminary design ideas.

The Show Producer is responsible for the development and management of all assigned project-related aesthetic, show, and guest-experience elements. The Show Producer defines and ensures compliance with Creative goals and intent, informing and advising Senior Management of Project status and Issues. Acts as the Creative Lead on assigned projects, supervising any assigned staff and workloads and determines strategies ensuring the successful completion of all tasks and/or assignments through all aspects of design and production from original concept.

The Sr. Director, Engineering & Safety is a key technical focal point for Universal Theme Park activities in Show and Ride disciplines. When Core assigned, is responsible for contributing to the long and short term strategic planning for Engineering & Safety, and for direct oversight of project technical assets for viability and compliance of their scopes, vendor selections, and work.

Summary Responsible for assisting to supervise the operation of quick service branded restaurants. Ability to create and foster a cohesive team while demonstrating organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring and coaching skills. Essential Functions Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding food quality, safety, labor, employment, and Union guidelines, as well as Company policies and procedures. Supports the employee and guest satisfaction programs and ensures the staff understands the importance of the programs.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer provides engineering support for existing and new theme park attractions (rides and shows). Duties include complex downtime investigation and troubleshooting of ongoing issues, reverse engineering and redesign, and other engineering tasks as required to ensure daily operational readiness of attractions. Additional duties include complex re-design and development efforts for mechanical / structural systems of theme park rides and attractions to provide increased reliability and operational improvements.

Provides technical management, inclusive of budget and schedule, for an attraction or attractions. Responsible for the successful specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of Ride and/or Show systems, to include Audio, Special Effects, Projection, Lighting, Set/Scenic, Props, Show Action Equipment, Animated Figures, Ride Systems, Mechanical Systems, Network Systems, Parkwide Systems, Ride Control, and/or Show Control Systems. Role may have multiple direct reports whom manage multiple aspects of an attraction.
